In his works, Robert Pan has developed an original language wherein light, colour and geometry take on an essential role, although the creations by the artist from Alto Adige cannot actually be described as painting, nor yet as sculpture. They actually adopt the two-dimensional lexicon of the one whilst not giving up the volumetric and object impact of the other, mainly thanks to Pan?s choice of using a material like synthetic resin and blending it with colour.0Considering the spiritual and enigmatic nature of some of the artist?s allusions, his cosmogonies are not the result of an astronomical observation of the mysteries of deep space but, rather, the outcome of an artistic practice that has ended up coinciding with the very exercise of introspection.00Exhibition: Lorenzelli Arte, Milan, Italy (30.05-21.07.2018)
